So you see, you can do anything!

If you don't have time to collect stuff and bring it by, consider the donation box from De Regenboog Groep.

It's super easy!

1) On the special page create your personal donation box

2) Share the link to your donation box via email, whatsapp or other social media.

3) Done, everyone wins!

Β

What can you do to collect donations?

Reading this and are you a child? Then you can organize a fundraiser, for example, with your class, sports club, team or street.

Think of baking cookies, making flower or Christmas arrangements and selling them.

Have too much stuff you don't use? Organize a flea market in your street or at your club!

Whatever you do, the proceeds may go into the donation box and you will help homeless, lonely or very poor Amsterdammers.

More inspiration!

Marcel sold mini carrot cakes for The Regenboog!

Marcel from Old West had a great idea for King's Day and sold mini carrot cakes via Facebook and Instagram (so not on a blanket on the street).

He donated the proceeds to The Regenboog!

"For King's Day, I held a donation among my social media friends and contacts for The Regenboog on FB and Insta. I baked mini carrot cakes and sold them for 48 hours via social media to donate the proceeds to The Regenboog.
I sold about 50 and apart from that there were many dear friends who wanted to donate money on their own as well, was really great!"

Take action: do!

You can donate, or do something! Here you will find appeals from our walk-in centres or other branches of De Regenboog Groep, through which you can make people less fortunate shine.

Come perform for homeless Amsterdammers!

In addition to meeting the basic needs of homeless people in our walk-in centres, we do what we can so that they can sustain a hard life on the streets.

For the homeless, the walk-in centre is a place to take a break without being hounded. A place to relax among themselves and be seen as human beings. Here, of course, the necessary entertainment also provides conviviality and relief.

This is why we are looking for people who can provide a live music performance. Whether you come to do this on your own with your guitar, with your band or with a club of colleagues or friends. All fun!

  • When? Any day v/d week possible, except Tuesday, starting at 1 p.m. (max one hour). Activity can take place once a month.
  • Where? Inloophuis Oud-West, Bilderdijkstraat 182, Amsterdam.
  • Number of volunteer activity? Max 5 people at a time.
  • To bring? The necessary instruments and other technology and possibly some snacks to make it a fun afternoon of music. Furthermore, a monetary donation to continue our work in the walk-in centre is of course always very welcome, but certainly not a must.
  • Note: For the running of our walk-in centres we depend on the donations of donors, that is why we ask you to bring something to snack on. Only if you can, of course, otherwise we'll be fine.

Subscribing or questions? Mail to oud-west@deregenboog.org or call 06 82 06 26 49
